Short Bio (100 words)
Samuel Freeman: has a PhD from the University of Huddersfield for exploring visual representation of sound in computer music software through programming and composition; has worked as a visiting tutor at four UK Universities; now West Devon based; was based in Stoke-upon-Trent (2013-2017) being active with Potteries Hackspace, Wavemaker, Code Club, and freelance as an arts-technologist.
Commonly known as Sam, I identify as an artist-programmer, as a music technologist, and as a human who has an experimental approach to most things. I accept commissions from artists and composers to do strange things with electricity. Find me online soundmaking.co.uk, tweet @samuelfreeman.
